  • The addition of aluminum ions through nano-alumina doping increases the battery voltage, thereby enhancing overall battery safety.
  • Coating lithium cobalt oxide with nano-alumina enhances thermal stability, improves cycle performance, and increases resistance to overcharging. It also inhibits oxygen generation and LiPF6 decomposition, prevents direct contact between LiCoO2 and the electrolyte, and reduces electrochemical specific capacity loss, leading to an increased electrochemical specific capacity of LiCoO2.
