Yttria Stabilized Zirconia Jar with Lid is composed of a ceramic in which the cubic crystal structure of zirconium dioxide is made stable at room temperature by the addition of yttrium oxide.
It is the strongest ceramic material we supply. This material offers the highest flexural strength of all Zirconia-based materials.

The YSZ tube is very brittle and must be handled very carefully. When used as a processing tube, the heating and cooling rates should be as slow as possible (usually < 5°C/minute above 800°C and < 2°C/minute above 1500°C).
* Micro-ceramics, advanced ceramic applications, and film or thermal coatings
* Textiles, nanofibers, and nanowires
* Solid oxide fuel cell (SOFC) electrolyte microlayers.
ACM’s Yttria Stabilized Zirconia YSZ Tube is carefully handled to minimize damage during storage and transportation and to preserve the quality of our products in their original condition.
