Silicon Carbide Plate Overview

Silicon carbide (SiC) is a lightweight, high-performance ceramic material known for its exceptional strength, rivaling that of diamond.

ACM supplies sintered silicon carbide plates — the most widely used grade for high-temperature and wear-resistant applications. Key properties:

  • High thermal conductivity (110 W/m·K) for rapid heat dissipation
  • High flexural strength (400 MPa) for mechanical reliability
  • Low porosity (2.5%) for excellent wear resistance
  • Max working temperature 1550°C
  • Available thicknesses: 1mm to 20mm. Custom dimensions available upon request.
